Khabar Khair (Only Good News)

Funded by the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP), the following entities: the branch of the Supreme Council for the Management and Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs and International Cooperation (SCMCHA), the Planning and Development Office in Hajjah Governorate, and the Local Council in the governorate, handed over project implementation sites in the field of roads to start the execution.
The project, estimated to cost $134,000, will be implemented by the Abs Development Organization. It includes paving and improvement works for 14 sections (crossings) with a total length of 870 meters. It also involves constructing drainage channels and barriers in flood-prone areas to protect the road and users, as well as increasing expansion in curves and areas where visibility distance is limited.
The director of the branch of the SCMCHA, A’lan Fada’il, and the Director of the Planning and Development Office, Dr. Abdulrahman Al-Malhani, emphasized that the project is part of the focus on implementing sustainable projects to alleviate the suffering of citizens. They confirmed the project will be executed according to the technical and engineering specifications and completed within the specified timeframe.
