The United Nations World Food Programme (WFP) announced on Sunday a project to repair boats in Al-Mahra Governorate.

In a post on X, the UN agency highlighted fisherman Hasham and his colleagues in Al-Mahra Governorate who are starting the journey to self-reliance.

“With WFP’s support, they are setting up a boat repair centre in their village, helping them save time and money to build their future and achieve their dreams,” the WFP added.
