Funded by Qatar, UNICEF supported the rehabilitation of basin no.6 at Dhamar Wastewater Treatment Plan (WWTP). This project is about protecting the environment and expanding access to basic services.

The project aims to increase WWTP capacity and treat wastewater across the city for use in agriculture, i.e. irrigation and fertilization.

This project will significantly reduce the environmental risks associated with sewage overflow and blockage and contribute to soil protection and community well-being.
