  • Distribution of Grants and Assets to 65 Women in Hadhramout’s Brom Mayfa District

Khabar Khair (Only Good News)

With World Bank MENA funding, UNDP and its local partner, the Small and Micro Enterprise Promotion Service (SMEPS) distributed grants and assets to 65 women to work on after intensive administrative, financial, & technical training on managing their own businesses in Brom Mayfa District, Hadhramout. This is part of the Sustainable Fishery Development in the Red Sea and Gulf of Aden (SFISH) project.

This initiative aims to enhance women active participation in developing fish-based food products, generate income and improve their quality to enhance their sustainability and market access.
