  • Supported by KSrelief, Prosthetic Limbs and Rehabilitation Center Provides Medical Services to 212 Beneficiaries in Aden

Khabar Khair (Only Good News)

Supported by the King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief), the Prosthetic Limbs and Rehabilitation Center in Aden Governorate, provided 717 medical services for Yemeni beneficiaries who lost their limbs, during August 2022.

The number of beneficiaries reached 212, 64% of whom were male and 36% females. Of the total beneficiaries, the displaced made up 20% and residents were 80%.

Prosthetic limbs were manufactured, fitted and maintained for 49 patients, covering their delivery, measurement, and maintenance services. The center also provided other treatments for 163 patients, including physical therapy and consultations.

This project is part of the Kingdom’s efforts, represented by KSrelief, to improve the capacities of the health sector in Yemen and alleviate the suffering of the Yemeni people.
