  • More than 5,000 Food Baskets Have Been Distributed in Hadhramaut as Part of the 100 Million Meals Campaign Carried out by Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum’s Initiative

Khabar Khair (Only Good News)

  In continuation of the One Hundred Million Meals campaign carried out by The Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Global Initiatives (MBRGI), and in cooperation with Mohamed Bin Rashid Al-Maktoum Humanitarian and Charity Establishment, the campaign distributed 5554 food baskets for needy families and low-income people in Hadramout Governorate. The campaign which was launched in a number of Hadhramaut districts distributed food baskets to 27,770 targeted people, , including  distributing 2393 food baskets in Al Shihr district and its environs, distributing 1406 food baskets in the Qusayr district and its environs, and distributing  1,752 food baskets in Gail Bawazir district and its environs.

  This campaign is a part of 21,000 food baskets provided to the people of Hadhramaut and Shabwa as a response from the UAE to support the humanitarian situation in Yemen as a part of its humanitarian mission of alleviating the living conditions, and contributing to overcoming the challenge of hunger globally and promoting values ​​of giving.

 The One Hundred Million Meals campaign is a continuation of the Ten Million Meals campaign that was launched in 2020 to support needy groups locally, who were affected by the challenges posed by the outbreak of the new Corona virus, as the campaign expanded globally to focus on needy groups in 20 countries around the world.
