Kuwait Society for Relief launched a project to rehabilitate Al Turba water system. The project consists of making new pipes of 5,000 meters long, starting from the Mokha well in Al Asabeh, passing through Al-Wain well and tank, all the way to the accumulation tank in Obel Al-Turbah and then to the beneficiaries of the residents of Al-Turba.

A solar energy system was installed for Al Mocha well, and control rooms were rehabilitated for three wells associated with the project.

The project will benefit more than 20,000 thousand people from Al-Turba’s residents.

At the opening, Dr. Adel Baeshen, Deputy Director of Kuwait Society for Relief in Yemen, gave a speech in which he explained the efforts of Kuwait Society for Relief, and said that this project comes within a well-thought-out context and periodic plans implemented by the Kuwait Society for Relief.
