Funded by the United Nations’ Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO), Mozn Charity Social And Development Foundation (MOZN) successfully carried out the initial phase of an animal wealth distribution project in Qafl Shamer District, Hajjah Governorate. A total of 500 families were beneficiaries, each receiving 4 sheep.
Highlighting the significance of such endeavors amidst the current circumstances, Hashim Al-Mutawakkil, the General Manager of MOZN, stressed the importance of these projects in alleviating human suffering. The project encompasses various activities, including the distribution of 165 tons of animal feed and salt cubes, the provision of 4,000 small livestock, and the disbursement of cash assistance to vulnerable families. These initiatives serve the dual purpose of mitigating malnutrition-related ailments and empowering targeted households economically, ultimately enhancing their livelihoods.
