With the generous funding provided by the United Nations Population Fund, beneficiaries of sewing, tailoring, and food industries courses in Mukalla, Hadhramout Governorate, were recently bestowed with economic empowerment bags. The initiative was undertaken by the Humanitarian Access Association as part of their “Safe Space for Women and Girls” project, aimed at providing protection and livelihood support.
A total of 23 battered women and girls, who are survivors of violence, had the privilege of benefiting from this empowerment initiative.
