Khabar Khair (Only Good News)

On Thursday, October 20, 2022, funded by the World Food Program (WFP), the Food Security Project Management Team in Mukalla, Hadhramout Governorate, organized an awareness session for community committees on Cash Distribution Activity.

30 of the heads of residential neighborhoods in Mukalla participated in the session. The Monitoring and Evaluation Officer at the Field Medical Corporation, Hussein Abdulalim, spoke about the objectives of the session, and the activities and services provided by WFP to vulnerable families across the world. He also indicated that WFP provides food aid to 13 million people in Yemen.

The session touched upon the WFP criteria regarding eligible beneficiaries, including the displaced people who cannot support their families and have malnourished children, and the types of food aid it provides in Yemen and other related topics.
