With the generous support from King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Centre (KSRelief), the Ministry of Education has signed a collaborative agreement via visual communication technology. This agreement involves a partnership and cooperation with the Islamic World Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (ICESCO) and the Benevolence Coalition for Humanitarian Relief (BCHR). The objective is to implement an education enrollment project targeting girls who have unfortunately dropped out of school in Yemen.
The project encompasses various initiatives. Firstly, it aims to equip 21 schools dedicated to girls’ education. Additionally, it will provide school bags and supplies to benefit 19,000 girls in 7 governorates. Moreover, it will organize training programs designed to enhance the capabilities of 350 individuals working in the field of girls’ education. The project will also establish 100 alternative classrooms in displacement camps, ensuring proper educational facilities for the girls who have dropped out. Furthermore, professional support will be provided to the families of these girls. The initiative will also focus on streamlining admission procedures for displaced girls and raising awareness regarding the importance of girls’ education.
