  • UNDP Supports the Installation of Solar Energy Systems for a Number of School Compounds and Secondary Schools in Mukalla

Khabar Khair (Only Good News)

In mid-October 2022, the United Nations Development Program (UNDP) provided funding to support the installation of solar energy systems for a number of school compounds and secondary schools project in Mukalla, Hadhramout Governorate.

The first phase of the project included the installation of solar energy systems for 9 school compounds and secondary schools for girls, while the second phase will include the implementation of the same project in boys’ school compounds and secondary schools in Mukalla.

The project comes within the framework of the “Project to Support Economic Resilience”, implemented by the UNDP, in Hadhramout Axis, Al-Mahra and Socotra.
