Khabar Khair (Only Good News)

The United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA) provided economic empowerment grants for women and girls, benefiting from livelihood programs, for the third quarter of the current year 2022. These grants were distributed by HUMAN ACCESS in Al-Mil camps in Marib governorate.

The distribution process came after conducting training courses, targeting displaced women beneficiaries and the poorest families in the fields of tailoring, dress making, and pastry and sweet making. Those grants include  all required machine, materials, and supplies to enable women to start their own businesses and enter the labor market.

Those grants came under the Protection and Livelihood Support Project (the Safe Space for Women and Girls), which aims to improve the material and living standards of vulnerable groups through small and sustainable projects.
