UNHCR was able to provide cash assistance to more than 4,000 of the most vulnerable displaced families in Yemen to help them secure their basic and other needs. This was made possible through Qatar Charity’s Zakat contribution during the year 2023.

This aid comes to alleviate the suffering of displaced people in light of the world’s worst humanitarian crisis. In turn, the beneficiary families expressed appreciation for meeting their basic needs in light of the difficult circumstances they are experiencing.
