Khabar Khair (Only Good News)

Funded by the Sultanate of Oman, the Islamic Cultural Charitable Social Association launched the distribution of food aid in Mukalla, Hadhramout Governorate on Monday, April 24, 2023. The cost of this assistance amounted to about $725,000. It targeted more than 25,000 needy families in Al-Sahil Districts.

During the inauguration, the Secretary-General of the Local Council in Hadhramout Governorate, Saleh Al-Omqi, praised the Sultanate of Oman’s interventions to help the poor families in Hadhramout during the blessed Eid Al-Fitr. He expressed his thanks to the leadership and people of Oman for their permanent support for Yemen in general and Hadhramout in particular.

The head of the association, Prof. Abdullah Baharoun, added that the process of distributing will take place based on an organized mechanism for selecting the most vulnerable and needy families. He appreciated the Omani role in adopting these charitable projects in Hadhramout, led by His Majesty Sultan Haitham, the Omani government and the Omani Charitable Organization.
