Khabar Khair (Only Good News)

The “Humanitarian Access Organization” in Taiz governorate has implemented a training course in obstetric emergencies with funding from the United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA) and the King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSRelief).
The training course was conducted as part of the Reproductive Health Services Support Project, which aims to enhance the work performance of midwives and nurses in the obstetric emergency department for women and childbirth at Al-Misrakh Hospital in the Al-Misrakh district.
The project, which trained nine midwives, covered several topics, including the use of ultrasound devices. Its goal is to improve the skills of healthcare personnel to ensure that pregnant women and newborns receive the best possible care and reduce the incidence of maternal and newborn mortality during or after childbirth.
