  • KSrelief’s Team Inspects Oxygen Plant for Cylinder Filling at Qishn Hospital in Al-Mahrah, Yemen

Khabar Khair (Only Good News)

The King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief) team paid an inspection visit to the oxygen plant for cylinder filling at Qishn General Hospital in Yemen’s Al-Mahrah Governorate, funded by KSrelief in cooperation with the World Health Organization (WHO).

During the tour, the team was briefed on the state-of-the-art machinery and controls at the facility. The tour took them through the steps used by the main pressure systems and how they work, as well as the pipes that link the different medical and industrial units. The plant can produce 22,630 oxygen cylinders, or 905,200 liters of oxygen per year, which will greatly benefit Qishn, Sayhut, Messila, and Haswain districts in Al-Mahrah Governorate.

The funding falls within the framework of the KSrelief ‘s humanitarian and relief efforts, which aim to support healthcare institutions around Yemen with essential medical supplies and equipment.
