  • Ksrelief and UNFPA Provide Health Supplies and Tools to Al-Ghaydah Central Hospital

Khabar Khair (Only Good News)

On Tuesday, February 28, 2023, King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (Ksrelief) and the United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA) provided supplies, medicines, and hygiene materials to the Obstetric Emergency Department at Al-Ghaydah Central Hospital in Al-Mahra Governorate.

The Director of Al-Ghaydah Central Hospital, Muhsin Balhaf, confirmed that these materials, which are delivered every three months to the department from the Reproductive Health Project, cover a large part of the department’s needs in the hospital. He thanked KSrelief Center, the UNFPA, and the Humanitarian Access Association, the implementing body of the project, for their keenness to support health sector in Al-Mahra Governorate, their interest in the medical system, and the improvement of the level of services.

The Reproductive Health Project has been implemented for four consecutive years in Al-Mahra Governorate. About 12,000 people annually benefit from the project. About 3,000 people will benefit from it during the first quarter of 2023 in the governorate.
