Azzan Hospital in Shabwa Governorate has received two new, fully equipped ambulances thanks to the Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan Foundation for Humanitarian Works. The foundation chose Azzan Hospital, along with two other hospitals, for development and support.
Mohammad Saeed Al-Khars Bafqir, Director General of the District, expressed his gratitude for the foundation’s efforts to improve the health sector in the area. He emphasized that this support will have a positive impact on medical and treatment services, rehabilitation of specialized medical staff, and providing modern medical devices and equipment – in addition to developing emergency services.
To observe the improvements made possible by the Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan Foundation’s investment, the Director of Health and Population in the district, the Director of Azzan General Hospital, and members of the hospital’s Board of Trustees conducted an inspection tour of the facility.
