Khabar Khair (Only Good News)

Funded by the World Health Organization (WHO) and under the supervision of the Ministry’s office in Al-Wadi and Al-Sahra, and under the patronage of His Excellency the Minister of Public Health and Population, a training course on the treatment of acute watery diarrhea (cholera) and infection control for healthcare staff in Wadi and Sahra Hadhramout has begun in the city of Sayoun.
The participants of the course, from the teams of diarrhea treatment centers in the directorates of Sayoun and Tarim, will receive theoretical and practical knowledge, skills, and experiences over a period of four days. The course will cover topics such as diagnosing cholera epidemiology, diagnosing suspected cases and patients, handling the condition, suspected case centers and their treatment, infection control methods and techniques, as well as reporting methods and procedures.
