  • Distributing 100 Fishing Boats With Engines To Affected People In Al-Khoukha And Al-Mokha

Kuwait Society for Relief concluded the second phase of the development project of distributing 100 fishing boats with engines to the neediest fishermen in Taiz and Hodeidah governorates.

The project took place in two phases, in the first phase in the Mocha district of Taiz governorate, 30 fishing boats with engines were distributed, and in the second phase, 70 fishing boats with engines were distributed to the neediest fishermen in the Khokha district, Al Hudaydah governorate.

This major project comes as a sustainable development project that contributes to providing a source of income for hundreds of families who will work on these boats to alleviate their distress and poverty under the difficult economic situation that Yemen is living.

Dr. Adel Baeshen, Deputy Director of Kuwait Society for Relief office in Yemen, confirmed the continuation of Kuwait Society for Relief ‘s efforts to support the Yemeni people and stand by them through direct humanitarian interventions in various sectors, including the sectors of livelihoods and economic empowerment.
