King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Centre (KSrelief) delivered financial sponsorship to 148 orphans in Aden Governorate, as part of the second phase of the Orphan Sponsorship and Economic Empowerment of their Families Project in the governorates of Aden, Lahj, Hadhramaut, Al-Mahra, Hodeida, Taiz, Marib, and Al-Jawf.
The project is an extension of the humanitarian relief projects provided by King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Centre (KSrelief) to help orphans, alleviate their suffering, and improve their living conditions.
It is worth noting that the project aims to support the orphans in Yemen by economically empowering 440 families who support them by providing sustainable job opportunities for them to provide income, livelihood, educational, and health sponsorships. In addition to that, orphans are also enabled to join the educational process, and school bags are distributed, so that 1,300 – male and female – orphans benefit from the project.
