Sixty-eight boat engines were distributed to fishermen in the Ad Dis district of Hadhramout, Yemen. The initiative, part of the SFISH project, aims to strengthen fishermen’s livelihoods by easing their financial burden and increasing their income.

The distribution ceremony was attended by local officials, including the Director General of Ad Dis and the Head of the Local Council. The SFISH project is implemented by the Small and Micro Enterprise Promotion Service (SMEPS) in partnership with the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) Yemen and funded by the World Bank.
