On Wednesday, September 27, 2023, the Saudi Development and Reconstruction Program for Yemen (SDRPY) initiated the implementation of four sports stadium projects in Aden Governorate. The projects, namely Al-Jalaa Club, Al-Jazira Club, Al-Rawda Club, and Al-Mina Club, are aimed at enhancing the efficiency and quality of sports facilities, as well as developing the skills of sports practitioners in Yemen.
These four initiatives prioritize the support and empowerment of Yemeni youth, fostering their potential and promoting diverse sports activities. In addition, SDRPY has introduced other complementary projects and initiatives, such as the project of the martyr Ali Asaad Muthanna Sports Hall in Aden and the model schools project, which encompasses 31 basketball and volleyball courts across various Yemeni governorates.
It is worth mentioning that SDRPY has already implemented a total of 229 development projects and initiatives across seven fundamental sectors, comprising education, health, water, energy, transportation, agriculture and fisheries, as well as capacity-building for government institutions.
