Khabar Khair (Only Good News)

On Tuesday, July 25, 2023, Alborj Consultant Hospital in the city of Mukalla, Hadhramout Governorate, witnessed the inauguration of a charity medical camp for burns, plastic surgery, and congenital anomalies, funded and implemented by the King Salman Humanitarian Aid & Relief Center (KSRelief) of Saudi Arabia. The camp, set to last for 6 days, aims to provide much-needed relief to patients in Yemen.
Youssef Al-Mutlaq, a representative of KSRelief, highlighted the significance of this camp during the inauguration. He stated that this initiative is part of a series of medical camps organized by the center in various Yemeni governorates. In collaboration with local authorities and the Ministry of Health and Population, the camp aims to alleviate the suffering of patients in the region.
The medical camp will offer a comprehensive range of services, including examinations, consultations, and surgical procedures. The dedicated medical team will perform surgeries related to the removal of post-burn skin tumors, repair of war and accident injuries, cleft lip repair, correction of palate deformities, hand surgery, breast surgery, excision of skin tumors, and post-tumor reconstruction.
This medical camp comes with an ambitious goal of examining over 400 cases, with approximately 50 patients scheduled to undergo surgeries specifically related to burns, plastic surgery, and congenital anomalies.
