  • Funded by UAE, Iftar Meals Distributed to Poor Families in Hadhramout

Khabar Khair (Only Good News)

Last week, the Emirates Red Crescent distributed Iftar meals to poor and needy families in Hadhramout Governorate. At the end of the first third of the holy month of Ramadan, 2023, the total meals distributed by the volunteer teams were 6,550 meals out of 19,650 Iftar meals to be distributed during the month.

The meals distributed are about 655 meals per day. Some are distributed on the streets and in the neighborhoods, while others were given to needy families.

The distribution of the meals is part of the humanitarian work provided by the Emirates Red Crescent to help the people and poor families in the different parts of Hadhramout Governorate.
