Khabar Khair (Only Good News)

Funded by the Turkish Red Crescent Society, food aid was distributed to a number of poor families, people with special needs and orphans in Aden Governorate.

The head of the Turkish Red Crescent mission in Yemen, Ibrahim Obaid, said: “the distribution of food aid took place in Al-Mansoura district, in cooperation with the Higher Governmental Committee for Relief and the Yemeni Red Crescent.

According to the Turkish Anatolia Agency, 550 food baskets were distributed to poor families, people with special needs and orphans as part of a campaign to distribute 625 baskets in Aden. Obaid noted that the Society distributed 75 food baskets to patients with cerebral palsy in Sirah district.

The distributed food baskets reflect Turkey’s keenness to provide various humanitarian aid to alleviate the suffering of Yemenis, especially in Ramadan. The Society helped the most needy families all over Yemen by providing various humanitarian assistance to the displaced and those affected by conflict since the outbreak of the conflict in Yemen. It, thus, in all governorates.
