Khabar Khair (Only Good News)

For the third day in a row, the volunteer medical camp team for orthopedic surgery and joint replacement continues its activities at Ibn Sina Hospital in Mukalla, Hadramout. The camp is funded by King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center.

The camp performs total and partial knee and hip replacements, bone biopsies, and arthroscopic knee reconstructive surgery. It also manufactures the anterior cruciate ligament of the knee, arthroscopic excision of torn meniscus, tendon separations and fractures. These all are done under the supervision of a consulting medical team from the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

It is worth noting that the camp was launched on Sunday, November 20, and will continue until November 26. It witnesses a large number of patients from several governorates.
