This project is part of the humanitarian and charitable projects provided by QRCS and Yemen Red Crescent Societies in various fields in the governorate to alleviate the suffering of educators, especially in light of the current circumstances in the country.
The Executive Director of Yemen Red Crescent Society, Al-Bayda branch, Omar Muhsin Al-Haddar, explained that more than 1,035 educational staff and personnel will benefit from the food basket project.
He pointed out that each food basket contains: 25 kg of flour, 10 kg of sugar, 10 kg of rice, 4 liters of vegetable oil, 12 cans of beans, and 2 kg of salt.
The governor Idris praised the role of QRCS and Yemen Red Crescent Societies and their efforts in supporting the educational sector in the governorate.
He emphasized the importance of coordination with humanitarian and relief organizations operating in the governorate to establish a mechanism for providing urgent food baskets to teachers through donor organizations, contributing to alleviating the difficult humanitarian situation for teachers and all segments of society.
