  • CPA Organizes a Hearing Session for the Displaced in Mukalla

Khabar Khair (Only Good News)

The Community Peace Association (CPA), in partnership with Amal Socio-cultural Feminism Foundation and Peace and Building Foundation, organized a hearing session for the displaced individuals in the Ibn Sina area of Mukalla city. This initiative is part of a campaign to enhance social cohesion and understand the needs and challenges faced by the displaced.
The session aimed to create a safe environment for the displaced by evacuating the local authority building in the Ibn Sina area and relocating them to the Buwaysh Camp in the eastern part of the city. Additionally, they provided food baskets and financial assistance to facilitate the relocation process. The displaced individuals were given the choice between voluntary return with covered costs or having rented houses provided for them, with the organization and partners covering the expenses for six months and facilitating the transportation of their children to schools.
The CPA, in collaboration with the Displaced Unit and the FMF Organization, ensured all necessary safety preparations for their relocation. They provided a suitable environment and overcame any obstacles. At the end of the session, toys were distributed to the children of displaced families.
