The Artificial Limbs and Rehabilitation Center project in Aden, supported by King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief), in May, provided medical services to 227 beneficiaries who had lost their limbs in Yemen.
During the project, 588 services were provided. Of the beneficiaries, 70% were male and 30% were female. Displaced people constituted 57% of the beneficiaries, while residents made up 43%. The services included installing and rehabilitating artificial limbs, physiotherapy, and specialized consultations.
This is part of humanitarian projects that the Kingdom, represented by KSrelief, provides to boost the capabilities of the health sector and alleviate the suffering of the Yemeni people.
