  • Yemen Direct for Monitoring and Performance Evaluation Launches Educational Projects in Lahj and Abyan

Khabar Khair (Only Good News)

In the governorates of Abyan and Lahj, two schools have been handed over to contractors for refurnishing and restoration. These projects were funded and implemented by the Kuwait Society for Relief as part of  “Kuwait by Your Side Campaign.”

During the inauguration, Al-Siddiq School for Basic Education in Ahwar district and Abdulrahman Qahtan School in Labous district were handed over in the presence of Eng. Ahmed Shamsan and Eng. Khaled Abdullah Al-Sayed, the representatives of Yemen Direct for Monitoring and Performance Evaluation, Ms. Anisa Obaid, General Coordinator of the Project, and Representatives of the Kuwait Relief Society and the local authority.

The participants signed the handover note, and stressed the importance of starting the implementation of the work entrusted to them, according to the applicable technical specifications.

“Yemen Direct for Monitoring and Performance Evaluation” has actively contributed over the past ten years to the process of monitoring and evaluation, as a third party, on many donor-funded projects in Yemen.
