Yesterday, Wednesday, a workshop titled “Youth Aspirations” was held in the city of Seiyun. It was organized by the Ministry of Youth and Sports office in the Hadhramaut Valley and Desert, in collaboration with the Ardh Al-Salam Foundation for Media, Human Development, and Rights. The workshop aimed to develop a shared vision for the development and empowerment of youth.
During the opening session, the Deputy Governor of Hadhramaut for Valley and Desert Affairs, Amer Al-Amri, emphasized the significant importance given to the youth and sports sector, considering youth as the fundamental base for construction and development. They represent half of the present and all of the future. This necessitates their good preparation and qualification to become future leaders equipped with the necessary skills to overcome challenges.
On his part, the Director of the Ministry of Youth and Sports office, Dr. Majdi Bin Taleeb, explained the future directions of the office’s work, emphasizing the focus on youth, developing their capabilities, enhancing their skills, and refining their personalities in various youth fields.
The workshop focused on several themes aimed at opening avenues for closer engagement with youth and activists in civil and youth work, encouraging their active participation in formulating proposals and recommendations that enhance youth activities, and presenting purposeful ideas that serve the youth and the community at large.
