  • UNDP Opens New Health Facility in Yemen’s Najrah District

Hajjah Governorate, Yemen – Al Thanoubah Health Center in Najrah District, Hajjah Governorate, has commenced operations, bringing much-needed medical services to over 20,500 residents.

This new facility, supported by the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP), aims to address the healthcare challenges faced by the community due to the region’s ongoing conflicts and resource scarcity. The center is equipped with a solar power system, ensuring that medical services remain operational even during power outages, which are common in the area due to fuel shortages.
