In July 2022, the United Nations Development Program (UNDP), in cooperation with SOUL for Development and with the support of the European Union Mission in Yemen, implemented the strategic educational planning training program in Aden governorate.

The program aims to build the skills and knowledge of the planning teams in the districts and to familiarize the project’s facilitation committees with the concepts of strategic educational planning, how to identify the needs of the education sector at the level of schools and districts, how to prepare the educational plan for the districts, and how to evaluate and follow up the activities of the educational plan.

It is worth noting that the program lasted for six days, with the participation of about 43 people from the planning teams of the Ministry of Education in Aden in several districts, including Al-Mansoura, Sheikh Othman, Dar Saad, Khor Maksar, and Al-Bariqa.
