  • UNDP and KSrelief Empower Tareem Peace Committee to Enhance Community Living

In an effort to foster community resilience and improve local living conditions, the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) Yemen, with funding from the King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Centre (KSrelief), has launched an initiative under its Social Protection Project. This project is actively empowering the peace committee in Tareem, Hadramaut.

The initiative includes comprehensive training sessions for peace committee members, equipping them with the skills necessary to address and resolve local issues effectively.

As part of their activities, the committee has taken on the task of cleaning streets and removing debris, directly contributing to an enhanced quality of life for the residents of Tareem.
