  • Turkish Red Crescent Funds Zinjibar Hospital Camp for Cataract Removal

Khabar Khair (Only Good News)

Funded by the Turkish Red Crescent and implemented by the Yemen Red Crescent Society (YRCS), Zinjibar Hospital in Abyan Governorate is establishing a Cataract Removal Camp. The project enjoys the esteemed sponsorship of Dr. Qasem Mohammed Buhaibeh, the Minister of Public Health and Population. The initiative is carried out in collaboration with Roaya Eye and Retina Center, under the supervision of the General Directorate of Medical Camps at the Ministry of Public Health and Population, along with the local branch office.
The camp will be operational until February 27, providing surgical procedures for 100 beneficiaries. It is noteworthy that Zinjibar Hospital has previously organized several highly successful eye surgery camps.
