Within the framework of the Emergency Food Assistance and Economic Recovery Project targeting Vulnerable individuals, the Youth Leadership Development Foundation, with support from the Islamic Relief Organization, is implementing activities under the Micro Vocational Training and Entrepreneurship Program. The program aims to serve 234 beneficiaries (156 females / 78 males) with the goal of providing them with the necessary skills to improve their livelihoods.

During the program period, the foundation offered training in six diverse areas:

Sewing, which helps women work from home or start small projects.

Pastries and baked goods, opening doors for work in restaurants or setting up home bakeries.

Incense and perfumes, a field that can be an important source of supplementary income.

Mobile phone maintenance, training that allows men to benefit from the widespread use of smartphones.

Motorcycle maintenance, a skill continually demanded by the market.

Automotive electrical systems, for training on repairing one of the most commonly used vehicles.

In addition to these practical trainings, participants will be trained in entrepreneurship, which will enhance their ability to establish and manage their own businesses, providing them with sustainable income sources and bolstering their financial independence. These new skills open up new horizons for them and help in building a better future for themselves and their families.
