In efforts to enhance the role of women in society and empower them economically, the National Foundation for Development and Humanitarian Response (NAHR) has launched a training program for a group of women in the Bani Saad area of Al-Mahwit Governorate, focusing on the arts of sewing and embroidery.

During this course, the participants gained fundamental knowledge of sewing and embroidery techniques, and have already started applying what they’ve learned in practice. This program is financially supported by the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development, and is implemented as part of a collaboration between the National Foundation for Development and Humanitarian Response and Vision Hope International (VHI).
