Funded by the King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSRelief), the Benevolence Coalition for Humanitarian Relief (BCHR) has recently signed an agreement with the Minister of Education, Tariq Al-Akbari, to commence the second phase of the Back to School Project. This significant initiative will be implemented in four Yemeni governorates, namely Hajjah, Hadhramout, Abyan, and Mayon Island.
The second phase will encompass the establishment of 95 classrooms, as well as the provision of school bags and uniforms. With a direct impact on approximately 190 students, the project will also indirectly benefit around 12,000 others. Furthermore, the project aims to create job opportunities for productive families through the production of homemade bags.
