Khabar Khair (Only Good News)

United Nations Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (OCHA) has committed to providing humanitarian and developmental interventions, as well as implementing a number of sustainable projects that benefit citizens in Al-Mokha District.
This came during a meeting between the General Director of Al-Mokha District, Sultan Mahmoud, and the OCHA Office Director in the West Coast, Mr. Santos, to discuss the program and sustainable development projects that will be implemented by the organization in Al-Mokha in 2024.
During the meeting, the General Director of Al-Mokha District affirmed the local authority’s readiness to provide support and facilitation to OCHA, humanitarian organizations, and relief organizations on the West Coast, in order to implement sustainable development projects that serve the citizens and alleviate their suffering. He emphasized the need to transition to the phase of implementing sustainable local development projects that help the community and workers enhance their capacities and skills.
It is worth mentioning that a forthcoming meeting will be coordinated, bringing together all working organizations on the West Coast to discuss a range of needs and ways to intervene in sustainable development projects that serve the citizens.
