Within the project to Supporting the out of school children (OOSC) through innovative and integrated programming in child protection and education to increase access to Formal Education Nahda Makers, with the support of UNICEF and funding from the European Union, implemented the (Case Management) activity for targeted children in Al-Khokha District in Al-Hodeidah Governorate. The activity worked to implement Hearing and Vision Screening for children suffering from hearing and vision problems.

The organization later worked to distribute glasses and hearing aids to children after examination and providing for their needs, all of which aims to overcome health challenges that may hinder their education, in addition to ensuring their protection, assistance and care.

It is worth mentioning that this project has executed numerous diverse activities that support both the child and the teacher, targeting 2,500 students and 100 teachers with various activities including support for alternative learning pathways, professional development, setting up temporary classrooms, supplying student and teacher kits, providing incentives for volunteer teachers, establishing and activating community education committees, referral and integration into the formal education system, and conducting awareness sessions for psychosocial support and mine risk education.
