A meeting was held in Mocha, chaired by the Secretary-General of the Local Council, al-Ansi Qasim Zaid, with representatives of the International Organization for Migration (IOM) and the Director of the Water Authority Branch, Abdullah Iskandar, to discuss the implementation of the final phase of the Mocha Water Project.

During the meeting, the International Organization for Migration handed over the work site for the second phase of the pumping line extending from the al-Tabilyah collection tank for a length of 7 km to connect it to the pumping line implemented by the Humanitarian Action Cell in the National Resistance for a length of 8 km, to the main tank in the city of Mocha, up to the implementing company (Al-Sakhra General Contracting Establishment), with the support of the Yemen Humanitarian Support Fund (YHF).

The project, supervised by the International Organization for Migration, includes the completion of the transmission line with a length of 7500 meters and a diameter of 10 inches, the supply and installation of a chlorination system, in addition to a wireless field monitoring system linked to the Public Water Corporation building. The project also includes providing water to the residents surrounding the Al-Tabilyah field by building an iron tower tank and a distribution network to the homes.
