The Ministry of Public Health and Population, Aden, announced the vaccination of over 1.3 million children during the second precautionary campaign against polio.

The Ministry stated that the vaccination coverage reached 102% of the total targeted children across 120 districts in 12 governorates.

The Ministry also clarified that the vaccination rates in some governorates were as follows: Abyan 99%, Hodeidah 117%, Al-Dhalea 103%, Al-Mahra 95%, Taiz 106%, Hadramout Valley 96%, Shabwah 95%, Aden 98%, Lahj 107%, and Marib 107%.

This campaign comes as part of efforts to enhance health protection for children and aims to eliminate the risk of polio.
