  • Launching of Emergency Interventions for Ten Bridges at a Cost of 300 Million Riyals in Sayla Bilha, Lahj Governorate

Engineer Moeen Al-Mas, Chairman of the Board of the Road Maintenance Fund, inaugurated on Sunday the start of emergency intervention works for ten surface bridges in the Sayla Bilha area of Lahj Governorate. These works are being carried out by the General Corporation for Roads and Bridges with an estimated cost of 300 million riyals, funded by the Road Maintenance Fund.

The ongoing projects include digging drainage channels for rainwater to facilitate flood passage, constructing barriers from large stones, and building concrete walls to protect the bridges from floods and erosion, thereby enhancing their ability to face environmental challenges.
