The distribution of vocational tools to 100 orphan-supporting families was launched in Aden and Lahj Governorates. This initiative is part of the second phase of the “Orphan Sponsorship and Economic Empowerment in Yemen” project, supported by the King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Centre (KSrelief).

The project aims to empower 440 orphan-supporting families in Yemen by providing them with various life and vocational skills. This will be achieved through training and vocational courses in the fields of: Electrical installations for solar energy systems. Mobile phone maintenance. Perfume and incense making. Pastry and sweets making. Sewing and embroidery. Jewelry making. The project will benefit 1,300 orphans in the governorates of Aden, Lahj, Marib, al-Mahra, Hadramout, Hodeidah, Taiz, and al-Jawf.
