The King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Centre (KSrelief) has provided vocational tools to 24 women who have completed training in sewing, embroidery, and cosmetology in Aden Governorate. This initiative is part of the project to provide Livelihoods Support for the Most Vulnerable Women and Girls in Yemen, implemented in collaboration with the United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA).
The project, targeting 42,960 women in the governorates of Aden, Shabwah, Lahj, Al-Mahra, Marib, and Hadhramaut, aims to empower vulnerable women and girls and strengthen the capacities of those affected by gender-based violence. This is achieved through the provision of vocational and professional training programs, as well as psychosocial support services and protection for women and girls.
This initiative falls under the framework of programs and projects provided by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia through KSrelief, its humanitarian arm. These programs aim to care for Yemeni women and girls on all levels and provide for their basic needs.
