The King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Centre (KSrelief) provided vocational and craft tools to 100 orphans in Taiz Governorate on Thursday. The orphans were graduates of the “Sanad” project for supporting orphans affected by the conflict in Yemen, in the Taiz Governorate.
This took place during a ceremony attended by representatives from the Office of Social Affairs and Labor, the Office of Technical and Vocational Education, the King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center, and the project’s implementing entities.
Fuad Al-Faqih, Deputy General Director of the Office of Social Affairs and Labor, emphasized the importance of these development projects, which play a pivotal role in improving the lives of orphans and affected families, praising the support of the King Salman Center for these humanitarian initiatives.
He explained that the project included training graduates in various fields, such as sewing (25 graduates), food industries (25 graduates), mobile phone maintenance (24 graduates), motorcycle maintenance (14 graduates), and electrical wiring and solar energy (11 graduates), with the aim of economically empowering them and integrating them into the labor market, thereby contributing to improving their living conditions.
