  • Inspiring Stories: Amani Soars with Her Dreams, and Bajash Crafts His Future with Support from Qatar’s “Silatech”

Despite the challenges facing Yemen, inspiring success stories are emerging from young men and women who have turned their dreams into thriving businesses with the support of the Qatari organization “Silatech”.

Amani Abdul-Wasea, a young woman from Sana’a, transformed her passion for nature into a profitable beekeeping project.  Through the “Your Future” program, part of Qatar’s “Silatech”, she had the opportunity to acquire advanced financial management skills through intensive training courses. And a digital loan enabled her to expand her farm, increase honey production, and improve its quality. The result is “Amani Honey,” a product that has become a symbol of hope and empowerment within her community and a source of inspiration for women entrepreneurs.

Abdulrahman Bajash, a former employee, has become a successful entrepreneur in the field of handicrafts. He overcame financial difficulties with the support of “Silatech” and Al-Amal Microfinance Bank through their digital financing program for youth. He invested a digital loan to expand his business and enhance his e-commerce capabilities.

The stories of Amani and Abdulrahman demonstrate the impact of youth support programs in Yemen. The Qatari organization “Silatech” provides a role model for organizations seeking to empower communities.
