Local authorities in Hadhramaut Governorate, in the east of the country, inaugurated the operation of a water treatment plant at the Fatimah Babatain Medical Center for the care of renal failure patients in the city of Seiyun.
The water treatment plant is financed by the King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center and implemented by the Prince Fahad bin Salman Charity Association for the Care of Renal Failure Patients (Kalana), through the field partner, Salta Development Foundation.
This plant is one of the largest water treatment units in the kidney centers in the country, capable of supplying more than (54) machines simultaneously.
This facility is expected to increase the operational capacity of the center to serve more than (105) patients daily, with the added benefits of high-quality water production, high efficiency, and lower water consumption compared to the previous plant. It also features ease of operation and obtaining readings, equipped with smart and automatic washing systems, pressure, concentration, and temperature sensors, and has the capability to produce (2500) liters of clean, healthy water per hour.
